The thesis examines the segments of sale in the clipfish trade, studying the development of Christian Johnsen’s export from Kristiansund in the second half of the 19th century. It examines internal and external elements and analyses whether – and how – elements interacted and eventually structured the marketing. The thesis will be published in April 2024.
